E-mail forwarding

We are currently piloting this service for the members of the classes of December 2007 and May 2008. We plan to release this program to all alumni later this summer.

What is it?
E-mail forwarding will allow you to forward electronic mail to your current address, allowing you to keep the same e-mail address no matter how often you might change providers. With e-mail forwarding, you can stay @alumni.ilstu.edu no matter what Internet service provider you use.

How does it work?
Using your own ISP (Internet Service Provider), whether it is personal, business or free e-mail account (such as Gmail or Yahoo), click the "Sign up" link below to activate your account. To sign up, you will need your Alumni ID. If you do not have your Alumni ID, contact alumni@illinoisstate.edu. You will have the opportunity to set-up your From then on, no matter how many times you move or change providers or employers, anyone can reach you with the e-mail forwarding address. All you have to do is “Login” and change your e-mail receiving address. Any e-mail sent to your e-mail forwarding address will instantly forward to your new address.

For recent or soon-to-be graduates:
Due to the high volume of e-mail accounts the universities manage, Illinois State ulids and e-mail accounts will be discontinued six months after graduation. New graduates are encouraged to set-up their e-mail forwarding address before they leave campus.
