Affinity Clubs

An affinity club is an organized group of Illinois State graduates, former students, and friends of the University who share a common bond through an affinity while on campus or other special interest. Many of these groups are based on a shared academic discipline, student activities, or other special factors. Similarly to alumni chapters, each affinity club is led by a volunteer board of directors that works with Alumni Association, as well as with a co-sponsoring department in many cases, to plan, implement and evaluate club programs and activities.

Currently active affinity clubs:

Agriculture Alumni Association: graduates of the Department of Agriculture
Black Colleagues Association: African-American alumni
Illinois State University Alumni Band: all alumni who participated in Marching Band, including flags and dancers
Mennonite Nurses Alumni Organization: all alumni of the Mennonite College of Nursing, both before and after their merger with Illinois State University in 1999
